Fisher, Fowler & Williams Legal Services
Fowler & Williams Legal Services
Fisher Fowler & Williams, PLC focuses on four main areas of practice. We have a total of fifty-two years of combined experience, and all of us have strong experience handling all of these types of matters. While we are not a “general practice” firm, the significant array of specializations that we possess means that we can truly say we are capable of handling any case that comes in our direction. Still, we have do have four areas of specialty where we focus our practice.
First, we handle First and Third Party No Fault Auto Accident cases, along with other personal injury matters. If you have been the victim of a car accident, dog bite, slip and fall or exposure to toxic mold or other environmental hazards, our firm has vast experience in handling these matters. No personal injury or tort case is too large or too complex for us to handle for you.
Secondly, our firm also focuses on family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support matters, as well as pre-nuptial and ante-nuptial agreements. Complex family law matters, including those that involve business valuations or forensic audits, or those which are simply high conflict, are common fare at FFW, and we have successfully navigated clients . Having been prosecutors with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office handling major felony cases, there aren’t too many things we haven’t seen.
Third, we assist persons and businesses who are licensed by the State of Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Our practice in this area has two primary focuses; namely, assisting business entities in obtaining operating licenses (medical marijuana facilities, recreational marijuana facilities, hookah lounges, tobacco specialty retail shops/stores etc.), as well as providing defense for individuals who have had an administrative complaint filed against them by the Attorney General acting on behalf of the Department (such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners etc.). Clients often attempt to take these matters on themselves without representation, but once they figure out these matters are far more complex and difficult than they first think, find themselves in our office seeking assistance. Taking on the State, whether you are seeking their approval for an operating license, or if you are defending your license from administrative sanction, you want an experienced attorney on your side.
Finally, we handle boutique, complex criminal matters for clients. Our partners have all practiced criminal law extensively during the course of their professional careers. As a result, we specialize in complex and unique criminal matters. We are not a traffic ticket or district court criminal practice. Our specialty is high profile, complex felony criminal cases, whether that involves white collar financial crimes or circumstantial homicide or narcotics cases, that is our specialty. No other firm has the experience our lawyers do with handling felony criminal cases.
Personal Injury/Auto Negligence
Our firm has a large, extensive, and very successful first and third-party automobile negligence practice. Despite the ever-changing landscape related to Michigan’s No Fault Act, our attorneys have successfully navigated this ever-changing and nuanced field of law.
The area of specialty commonly called “Family Law” is generically used to cover a vast number of issues and problems that need legal address. We can handle them all. If you have any of the following issues, or need legal advice regarding any of the topics listed below, we’ve got you covered…
We have nearly two decades of criminal law experience, and a combined more than 200 major felony trials between us. We specialize in handling serious, major felony cases, particularly in the areas of White Collar Crimes, Financial Crimes, Professional Licensing Defense, and high-profile felony matters in both State and Federal Court. The more complex or interesting your case, the better.
